Carmack says Apple is not happy about iPhone as gaming platform.

There really isn’t any way to get around it… I think this is pretty DOOM-sayer in nature. I don’t think anyone really cares what the platform is being used for as long as it is being used. The iPhone/Touch/etc is a multi-use platform and since it is primarily a phone, people will fill in the gap between uses with games, reading, and so on.

But, the creator of DOOM suggests that Apple is not happy about it as a gaming system.
